There are ATV/ORV/Snowmobile trails that run through the town of Trout Lake. Hundreds of miles of trails can be accessed right from the parking lot of your cabin year-round! You can ride to Newberry, St. Ignace, and Paradise, to name a few! The rails in this area will not disappoint!


The area is located within the Hiawatha National Forest which offers hundreds of beautiful hiking trails, as well as numerous nature watching opportunities and offers many options for hunting.


Carp Lake (also called Big Trout Lake) is 560 acres of prime fishing for a variety of fish including smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, perch, walleye, northern pike, pumpkinseed sunfish, bream/blue gill , & rock bass.

Carp Lake is also an all-sports lake great for boating, jet skiing, water skiing, tubing, kayaking, paddle boarding, knee boarding, and swimming.
